Hedge Fund Trader is an application especially designed to meet the global needs of the Equity derivatives business. It includes functionality for booking structured transactions and managing the collateral associated with these trades. This is one of BNP Paribas’s most widely used applications and it is the source of data for the Profit & Loss, General Ledger and cash management systems. Hedge Fund Trader is used by trading, risk management and operations personnel all over Paris, New York and Dublin.
Responsibilities include, Production Support Design and Development of Change Requests and Enhancement of the application. Understanding the application business and domain. Provide recommendations to customer for technology problems. Streamlining process followed in the project. Web Migration proposals and execution plans.
Achievements : Started implementing major enhancements to the Application within a short span of time. (Received Kudos Award). Proposed a web Migration plan for the legacy application and was received well. Implemented couple of crucial technology migrations for the project. (VS2010, Sybase 12.5 to 15.0) Wrote Tools to increase productivity of the Team. Wrote a Sybase ASE Web Debugger (first of its kind). Improved presentation layer of the application, by designing and implementing custom reports generation.

The Retail CoFEE application provides a Client-Server integrated environment for Consumer Call Centerrepresentatives. Retail CoFEE is a high-performance; Windows and UNIX based Ordering System (recently migrated to .net web application) used forinstalling, changing, moving, or disconnecting Telephone, Internet, Video servicesThe application’s main goal is to provide a single interface for the call centre representatives to handle customer requests quickly and efficiently.
Responsibilities include, Design, Development of the code modules. Unit & Integration Testing and Code Review. Maintenance, Enhancement & Support of the Application Migration of the application to .NET (CoFEEAnywhere) Knowledge Management – Documentation, Training. Quality Process – Configuration Management, Defect Prevention. Module Lead/Mentoring – Grooming new team members Onshore-Offshore Co-ordination.
Achievements : Played a major role in delivering the RetailCoFEE project (now as a web application), which is used by more than 10000 call centre representatives in Verizon to cater more than 40000 orders per day. Recognized as a valuable resource in CoFEE portfolio which remains as one of the toughest projects executed in Infosys. |

Achievements:
Development of a Tool Suite, which included many automation tools for daily activities. It was greatly appreciated by the Team members/Managers. The Tool Suite aimed at solving productivity issues and helped meet the timelines of the project.
Knowledge management sessions on various tools/concepts like Automation Scripts, RegEx, PERL, dmexpress were documented in Infosys knowledge Repository. |
